Exercise

Today I decided it didn't matter that I was tired, and since more than half my work day was cancelled I figured I had no excuse, so I went to the gym. I forgot how good you feel after a real workout. I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes at a brisk pace, alternating between having an incline and none, with a 5 minute cool down. I also did 30 reps on various machines at the gym. I felt like such a badass! I hope I can remember this feeling next time! I just need to work through it.
I'm considering making a second attempt at this program:
Running for Beginners
I tried this one before, but I had issues with really bad shinsplints. That might have been exasperated by running on asphalt. So if I'm doing it now on a treadmill it might be better. I really want to be able to run. I've always wanted to, but I never thought I'd be able to due to being overweight and out of shape. I've never been athletic. But I'm trying which is something, right?
I think I'll give it another shot, but I also start taking yoga for a term next term which starts in just a few weeks. So I don't know if I'll be overwhelmed and only want to do the yoga... We shall see.
